Core Principles

1. Community Infrastructure, Not a Business

MyEO AI exists to serve EO members. It is not a company, does not have investors, and does not optimize for growth metrics. It operates as a utility.

2. Zero Commercial Intent

No advertisements. No sponsored content. No lead capture. No affiliate links. No "book a call" buttons. The platform will never be used to sell services and abides by EO's non-solicitation principles.

3. Vendor Neutrality

All AI tools are treated equally. Listings are sorted alphabetically or by member activity, never by payment or partnership. Vendors cannot claim, edit, or enhance their listings.

4. Peer Trust

Only verified EO members can contribute. All content is attributed to real members. Reputation is earned through contributions, not purchases.

5. Transparency

Moderation decisions are documented. Platform changes are communicated. Source code is available for inspection.

6. Communication

Emails and communication from myEO.ai are opt-in and will only be used to promote myEO.ai events, platform updates, and helpful content. They will never be used to sell services and will not be available for sponsored posts or vendor access. The mailing list is kept private and will be made up of EO members only. No employees or other member-related parties are permitted.

Privacy

What we collect: EO email for authentication, profile information you provide, and your contributions.

What we don't collect: Browsing analytics, third-party tracking, device fingerprints, or marketing preferences.

What we don't do: Sell data, share with advertisers, or use for marketing purposes.

Moderation

Content is moderated to prevent:

  • Self-promotion or advertising
  • Inaccurate or misleading information
  • Promotional language or marketing copy
  • Vendor bias or undisclosed affiliations

Moderators are volunteer EO members. Moderation decisions can be appealed once.

Member Directory Guidelines

The member directory helps EO members connect based on shared interests. Your visibility is opt-in and controlled in your settings.

Directory usage:

  • Connect with members who share your AI interests
  • Learn from peers in similar industries or chapters
  • Find collaborators for AI implementation projects

Prohibited uses:

  • Sales outreach or cold pitching
  • Recruiting for services or partnerships
  • Mass messaging or automated contact
  • Sharing member information outside the platform

Non-solicitation Policy

Members may not:

  • Submit tools they have equity in without disclosure
  • Write reviews for tools they sell or represent
  • Include links to their own companies (except for in their profile page)
  • Use the member directory for sales outreach

Enforcement: First violation: warning. Second: 30-day suspension. Third: permanent removal.
